Today my parents both went home, so it was officially our first day alone with Olivia. It was also "Barker Days" in Parker. This event happens one day during the year when the city of Parker empties the local pool and refills it with water suitable for dogs. Every dog in town attends and it is quite a show to watch all of the pooches and their crazy owners! Bart and Moose aren't big water fans, but, with some assistance, they will get in. Olivia and I stood on the sidelines as Jamie tried to coax Bart and Moose into the water. Here are some pictures and our first attempt at posting a video:
After a long morning at the pool, it was time for us to take a much-needed nap. Ever since Olivia was born (in fact even before she was born), we have wondered who Olivia looks like. We've debated and deliberated on whose nose, ears, eyes, chin, and personality she has. During our nap, one thing became clear... she has the sleeping habits of her father!

Wow, she does sleep like Jimmy. I think we officially know what my heart looks like on the inside. I just love her so much.

Well, well, well...Haven't you two turned out to be soo, well, grown up--which just makes me feel a little old. Adriane, you have turned out to be such a beautiful young lady, soo proud of you! And Jamie, I can't tell you how much you have grown up since I saw you last; you have truly done well for yourself and your new family! What a beautiful little girl you two have! Congrats!! What a wonderful day to have Olivia also!!
