Better Late than Never...

We had a whirlwind couple of weeks leading up to Christmas- here's what we've been up to...

We opened some family gifts early in an effort to avoid uneccesary packing.

Olivia thoroughly enjoyed opening both her own gifts...

as well as Alex's.
Alex's first Christmas gift from Nana and Pops was a hit.

We then headed to Colorado Springs for some more fun...

First up, a get-together with my wonderful friends from elementary school.
Here's a group shot (quite a challenge with 6 kids, hence the lack of eye contact).

Then Olivia had many adventures with her cousin, Alanis.
Tea parties with "Jingle-Bell Dog"

Sledding (once again with "Jingle Bell Dog")

Chuck E. Cheese

My mom and I drive by this little spot often and always comment what a great photo opportunity it presents. So, we put the two girls in their matching outfits, headed there in the freezing cold, and I snapped away.

Finally, Christmas morning.

Olivia was quite impressed with the playhouse Santa brought, along with all the stocking stuffers.

Cousin Alanis got some "Franklin" books.

Both girls had fun with the puppets from Grandma & Grandpa.

And Alex was pleased with his exersaucer.

Laine is looking at the right camera at least. It's so fun that Olivia has a little cousin just her age! Looks like you had a great Christmas!

I have always thought that is a great place for a picture too! What a fun Christmas! Alex is lucky to have such a great helper when it comes to unwrapping gifts! It was so fun seeing you all.

Wait, looks like Jamie is having just as much fun with the puppets. :)
